World Gone Sour PSN

As noted, the game is a puzzle platformer, offering quick and easy jumping fun across three areas, complete with mini-bosses and end of world final bosses. Hidden inside of that is a Pikmin style game mechanic where you collect smaller Sour Patch Kids to use as minions to attack enemies, change size or interact with the environment.

Gamers will take on the miniature role of a lost Sour Patch Kid in a stylized human-sized world, guiding the hero through the sticky floors of a movie theater, across the counter of a concession stand, and other unique and oversized environments. Joining forces with fellow lost Sour Patch Kids, players will use a combination of jumps, twists and puzzle-solving to negotiate and overcome larger than life obstacles. Along the way, they will battle unusual candy enemies, escape from deranged humans, and face-off against bizarre creatures including one very angry wad of sticky chewing gum.

When I was younger, I wanted to have a big family. I thought having a big family would be grounding and fulfilling and give meaning to my life. Now, I don't see the point of having children. It's hard to reconcile a desire to experience pregnancy and childbirth and motherhood, with despair at the idea of what's in store for future generations on this planet. For me, any sort of longterm life planning just feels like a waste of the time we do have left before the world ends.

But I think the mechanism at work here, in terms of coping with anxiety and dread, is that I'm trying to stay in the present by teaching myself new skills. I've always been a curious person, always did well in school, was always eager to learn. But lately I feel like the more I read and learn, the more I think about how fucked up the world is and how doomed we are ecologically and sociologically. So I've resorted to new ways of learning, I suppose. 041b061a72
